Frustrations Flare in the Krung Thep Locker room
#1
Following a close 2-3 game against Montreal, emotions erupted in the locker room after the tough loss. A game which saw Krung Thep desperate for the win to close down the point gap on Masques Sacres and this bled through into an aggressive playstyle that the Refs had none of.

Al-Kazmi was booked within the first 2 minutes! Then, Montreal took the first shot at 8 minutes with a goal from Tepoztli. Krung Thep quickly fired back with a goal from Al-Kazmi 4 minutes later. McGary was booked at 20 minutes and Grudnar scored for Montreal again at 23 minutes. This was a heated game, Krung Thep were the team in control, but they had ended up behind. Their shots were a much better quality, and the momentum was heavily in their favour. Al-Kazmi managed to equalise just before half time.

After some half-time mango's, Krung Thep hit the field, frustrated, but ready to play on. Alas, Silakka managed to fire in a leading goal at the start of the second half. The Momentum had swung heavily into Montreals favour. No matter what Krung Thep tried, they were unable to break through Talvik's hands. Montreal controlled the ball for the rest of the game, with 7 of their players having strong games. They played like the better team today and it showed with a few lucky goals.

With 2 games to go, Krung Thep will be looking to secure a win for one of them so they can make it into D1 of the minors next season.

It was a very tense locker room at full time! I enjoyed the world-building and discussion of the match. If the match events were fleshed out a bit more, I think this could have been a 4 or 5, but it is a quite solid 3 with the strengths it possesses.

3/5
