Needless to say Port Royal has had a rough start of the season with only 1 win in 5 games prior to match day 6 they were really looking for the light at the end of the tunnel. I am happy to share with the fans who didn't catch match day 6 they have found the light! In the final game of the match day Port Royal beat PS Jakarta 7-2. After a great team talk and tactical switch up Port Royal's luck has finally turned. A brace from striker Owen Goal, and midfielder Star Scream, as well as goals from Sadie Black, Scorp E. Unshark, and even Jimothy Erickson saw out the 9 goal thriller against PS Jakarta. In an post match interview with Jimothy Erickson I asked how it felt to get his first goal in the league he responded very positively, "The goal is a bonus *Grinning ear to ear* we went out there and showed our fans their money's worth and a little more. We know as a team this is the level we can produce we just have been unlucky to find the back of the net in previous outings. To be quite honest with you I wasn't expecting the ball to be as low as it was but I instinctively went for the volley! Shout out to Sadie for hitting the corner so well, the nutmeg was completely accidental to be honest I was going for the near post. But yeah great result for the team and one we really needed. I have kinda been getting tired of our fans referring to every game as match day 2, now they can start getting excited for match day 3!" With this defeat PS Jakarta sacked their manager and replaced them with @McLumberjack the fans of PS Jakarta should be excited for their new manager as well as their new players coming into the door!
