I learned that one of my teammates had a birthday coming up in a week when the team came over to his house for the day, and his family was there. His mom told me about it. I told the rest of the team the next day, in the locker room at the training grounds, before he got there. We talked about it for about 15 minutes until he got there, and we decided to throw him a surprise party after their next match. We decided to do an escape room, then surprise him with presents, and we told our coach, since it would look like his idea for team bonding. The coach called us all in to the locker room the next day following our plan, and told us about the escape room he wanted us to do. After about an hour in the escape room, we finally escaped and the first thing our teammate saw was his family and a big table with all the presents we got him on it. We all yelled “Surprise!!!” and he was in shock asking us how we learned that it was his birthday that day and I said that I talked to his parents when we were at his house the other day.
