Slabko was born the second biggest city in Slovakia, Košice. But grew up in Palermo, Italy due to his parents moving there for work. Palermo is also where he started his football journey with a small local academy and a youth team near his school. He started as a goalkeeper at first and he liked it, but then one of his teammates left and the coaches decided to fill the missing spot with Slabko. He first started at CAM but hen moved down to be a CDM due to him growing in size and physique, and his interest in going back and trying to stop his opponents instead of just waiting up front.
Slabko was just growing up as a normal kid would do. School, homework, football, gym, video games. rinse and repeat. He didn't actually expect to become a professional footballer when he grew up, but the coaches still started him almost every game or at least used him as a sub to clear up the mess in defense. He never wanted to be popular or famous, he just wanted to be him and he did that pretty well. Show up every training session, every class, every time they needed him he was there. He didn't wanted to be the one scoring goals every game, he didn't needed to because he found satisfaction in making the game hell for the opponent strikers, marking them so tight they couldn't breathe or just straight out stopping them from being even able to pass, or having a breathtaking tackle followed by a beautiful pass to his teammate starting new attack. He does not need fame or appreciation of others.
And that leads us to present day, Slabko was just leaving school heading for his practice and suddenly his classmate stopped him telling him there will be a draft soon for the best league ever, the SSL and that he should join. At first he just said, "I'm too old and too late for that now anyway". But his classmate insisted. And later that day he was just resting and playing some SWTOR finishing his cypher nine storyline while thinking. "Yeah why not" And later that night he joined the draft.
He was pretty late, he didn't experience the academy fully and had to learn while running instead of walking but he kind of liked that. And now he is here ready to do the best for the team that drafted him.
