With this crazy event that happened Yesterday the Draft some exciting picks! Quite an event to be part of and glad to be apart of s26 draft class. Where do we start , well Port Royal Academy overall the season wasn't very good. For my ex teammates now it was a pretty successful day at the draft. As The Three top picks of the draft Class coming from Port Royal - 1st Overall ( Barry McGylnn) @Definia 2nd Overall ( Reece Munro ) @Riipsaw and 3rd Overall ( Jimothy Erickson ) @GingerJLD . As being teammates with these three legendary players is was a honor to call them my teammate.
As through out the season, Star Scream interview process as begun. As the Questions came in and i think overall i had a pretty good interview process with i think all the managers that i chatted with. The grind of Tpe and creating graphics had super high interest from the managers as it seemed. Being one of the top TPE Earners throughout the whole season mostly Top 5 the Whole year and also playing CM for Port Royal. The CM position seem to be a quite a favourite of the S26 Class. I Think that is why alot of mangers when asking questions were asking me if i was willing to switch . I told most managers/ Scouts i was okay with switching if the team needed it 100% just not goal keeper :). When Draft day started i wasnt sure where i was going to land because i chats with alot of managers, Seemed like top TPE Earners were going to go in the TOP 10. Myself didnt wanna be full of myself i will be honest i thought i was going in the Top 10. Seemed like many chats i had i was going in that range but obviously that did not happen. Not sure overall what happened in the draft and im okay with that i will never know why some teams passed and that is okay. Alot of my questions i was getting overall from the teams were all pretty much asking the same. Little bit of a behind the decepticon star scream. The human behind the mask as you may say, im into stats im into tactics im in 2 different leagues now SHL - Lord Megatron AND SSL- Star Scream. Deep down im also a grinder and a gamer if needed to grind tpe or even money it wasn't an issue for me at all.
Lets get back to the draft as i think some teams may have missed a great opportunity in getting a great person and great locker room presence as some days im not super chatty. Once again i told most managers i didnt care where i got drafted to or even where i was picked. Watching the draft super deep class in s26 as some may the deepest draft in a while , newer player not sure for sure. With the draft happening i started to slide in my eyes where i thought i was going top 10, picks 11,12 ,13 so on i was like oh no. Didn't know where i was going at all after the 1st Round i was kind of shocked actually. Star Scream had great talks with Catalunya i knew they had a strong feeling towards me and super interested in my player and how i operate. When Catalunya traded for the 16th overall pick i was like here we go, Star Scream is going to Catalunya at 16th Overall, Then they drafted Dennis Van Huntelrooy @Jeanious at 16th overall " i was like dammit". After that happened i had no complete idea where i was going as a player. Slide out of the first round going into the 2nd round after the 16th pick. Picks 17,18,19 picking other players. We got to RD 2 pick 22nd Catalunya was on the board once again. Thinking to myself surely i got to Catalunya , after the selection was made Catalunya drafts RD 2- 22ND OVERALL- Star Scream. Glad i went to such a great organization. Not alot of people know this about Star Scream or even the person behind the mask but im huge into Knights and horses and Medieval time period. The team logo suits my personality so well and i think it completes my player to be honest. Some may say its a blessing in the sky as i agree that i slid into the 2nd Round. Overall the draft experience was shocking in my eyes but also a blessing as well im very happy where i went. Thanks ! Good luck to all Draftees in the s26 Draft :)>
