Weekly PT #255 - Highlands

With my trip unfortunately coming to an end. My Scottish Tours was awesome went on three tours back to back to back . Starting with the Outlander Tour , which is a show I haven’t really watch but was cool to see where a TV Show has filmed before . This tour included Blackness Castle and Doune Castle and another location where the part of the first season was filmed. Blackness Castle was a castle to never been officially taken over by the enemies very cool. 2nd Part of my Scottish Tours was the Highlands and Loch Ness. First stop was at local cattle farmer we got to see some highland cow ( coo) was pretty awesome to see in person. Then the tour bus got into the highland mountains . Being from Canada we are blessed with the Rocky Mountains , this was half the size maybe even a 1/4 but super stunning . A spot in the tour we stopped at a location called the three sisters, I stepped outside and it almost felt fake like my eyes couldn’t adjust to stunning features. Loch Ness history and unknowns was a fun and interesting part to experience how deep it is etc. Other then the monster myth the location itself did not blow me away unfortunately. The drive up to Lochness was way more fun and better for myself to experience . Third Tour was probably one of my favorite castles that I got to see. The Alnwick Castle in North East England, this castle overall was massive. Quite crazy to see in person again this castle was huge was not expecting that . The Percy family has had control of this castle since 1300s which is impressive in its own right. According to report the Percy family still lives in it but only in the winters. All the money that gets earned by this castle gets put back into this castle. ? overall the Scottish trip was a banger Edinburgh is a very busy city even in October but was worth going. Glad I finally pulled the trigger to do this holiday it official is off my bucket list . Thanks :)
