Tex Star and the FC Kaapstad bunch survive relagation, after a strong finish to the season. The young squad fought an uphill battle all season but found a way to get the job done, and although it wasn’t the finish they wanted it was still a strong showing in different ways. Rookie Tex Star showed promise in different spots, although the stat sheet was not the brightest of spots, he still found ways to impact the game and give teammates a chance to be in solid spots. With his sophomore campaign and also WSFC vastly approaching, Tex looks to have a solid offseason to grow in a multitude of ways to prove that he belongs not only in the minors but also on the world stage to represent his region. Next season Tex is looking to jump the learning curve and get the form he had in his youth days and in academy, 5 to 7 goals along with another 5 to 7 assists. Being the main man in the middle he looks to control the flow of the game and help conquer the opponents defense. This offseason focus will be all about finding a way to do that for his squad. Season 27 here we come.
