Tadgh O'Hurley - Season End

[HoodRatRoyalty]

What a whirlwind of a rookie season for the young wingback. Starting the season with the club absolutely on fire picking up a handful of points and things looking for a promising promotion season for Montreal. But things would quickly turn in the opposite direction. Montreal went on a big loosing streak at the end of the season loosing 5 in a row before having to play the relegation/Promotion match between Inter London. Tadgh had a rough first half of the match, balls were getting crossed in all over the place and he was just trying to do damage control  to prevent things from getting out of control. Montreal was down and looked out, but fought back pulling even just before extra time. And it was then, in the dying minutes of extra time that Tadgh scored his first SSL Minor league goal to put Montreal up 3-2 with only minutes to play. The team celebrated as the ref finally blew the whistle signalling the end of extra time and Montreal  had done it! From a last season loosing streak, to an almost sure demotion due to a bad start to the match, to a late regulation goal to tie, and another to secure a second season of Minor Division 1.  Tadgh finished with 1g,1a, and 1 PotM. He had 81% passing accuracy and  87% Tackline efficiency. He picked up 7 Yellows this season and covered all but a half kilometer of 200 total for the season. He had an average game rating of 6.65. Let's go Montreal! Another season to make improvements and show we belong in the top half!
