[HIRED] BoD Members and Interns

BoD Member

The Board would like to thank @MaverickLegend for their input and work during these past couple of seasons as they have asked to step down from the BoD.

Along with their departure, the Board has been running one person short of so we are announcing two [2] open positions and any current member of the Simulation Soccer League is able to apply (including any previous board member re-applying). The only members unable to serve in this role would be a current Team or Assistant Manager. If you are intending to relinquish a managerial role to take on this role, please include in your application any plans you have in place for the future of your team.

A BoD Member is expected to maintain the day-to-day upkeep of the SSL (both the league and the forum), be active and up to date on league discussions, take part in votes about adjustments to the league, discuss and take action in regards to disciplinary measures. The BoD Member is also expected to pursue the betterment of the league over any individual.

Examples of day-to-day upkeep of the SSL include:
- Overseeing the PT Teams
- Approving Players
- Organising rule change proposals and facilitating discussions
- Checking teams / individuals to ensure rule adherence
- Hiring people for open positions
- Helping out other departments when needed
- Covering departments who may be short on workers (File Working, Updating, etc)

BoD Intern

Last season we hired our first BoD Interns in @Vaxlare and @Dragons Maw. We would like to thank them both for a successful first season with the role and open up for another season of BoD Interns.

Board Interns are given a lighter and more specific individual workload than full Board Members (for example, handling player approvals or inputting the results of the games in our schedule) with the opportunity to take on more work as necessary/desired and will have the opportunity to get a taste of internal Board discussions. Interns will serve a one-season term. The intern position is intended for users without significant league experience to gain that experience and determine whether Board work is something that interests them long-term (likewise, if you apply for a Board Member position but we feel you may be short on experience, we may offer you an intern position instead).

Payment

Pay for Board Member is 6 Capped TPE each week, $2,000,000 per season, and a Theme Week Pass.
