Alright SSL, it is time for the seasonal Pierre Houde season review! As I'm writing this, Pierre has appeared in 10 league games this season and that's what I'll focus on.
I'll start by saying that this is most probably Pierre's best season yet and worthy of at least some consideration down the line. Pierre's average rating is now at 7.31, up from last season's 6.96. Still no goal and assist, but that's not what Cairo is paying Pierre for, so it's alright. This is where is gets interesting, Pierre has completed 99.08 % of his passes, up from last season's 96.83% This impressive percentage is actually the best in the entire division 1! Pierre's heading percentage is also up to an impressive 89.21% up, from 77.23 in the previous season! This is amongst the best heading percentage in the entire league, so another really good showing for good old Pierre. The key headers are also up from last season already with games still to be played. It's also worth mentioning that Peirre still hasn't missed a tackle all season, which is kind of impressive when you think about it! He also steered clear of the mistakes leading to goals (fingers crossed). His 115 clearances are the 4th highest in the league, but he's hurt by the low amount of interceptions he has unfortunately.
All in all, I think Pierre has a career defining season this year in Cairo City, but unfortunately I'm pretty sure it'll fly under the radar since Cairo is having a rocky season, just above the relegation zone. I think this is the most positive season review I've done so far so the future is bright for Houde! (pronounced like hood, but without the h, by the way)
