A football club is a business like few others. The measures of success can be hard to define and the ups and downs can be brutal. Despite early success, Adowa Accra FC quickly fell on hard times, with internal turnover translating to inconsistent performance on the field. Since Season 7, management has focused on restoring stability and creating a long-term plan. As part of this goal, a fresh start was sought in a new location with a new face to show the league. That step has now been achieved and we are thrilled to unveil for the first time…




Representing one of the globe’s most successful footballing nations, Schwarzwälder FV is situated in the ominous realm of Germany’s Black Forest. Our Schwarz und Weiß primary kits feature our signature Eerie Black and Snow White colours, while change and cup kits show off Kiefer (pine) and Kirsche (cherry) accents. Stay tuned for more information on the club and crest as we debut in Season 10!

Massive Dankeschön to our internal brand team of @_Blitz_ and @Shnitzl, who provided ideas, feedback, and advice throughout so many rounds of concepting and design work. To everyone in our locker room for sticking with us through the lean years, really building the camaraderie and making our LR such a great place to be no matter what happens on the pitch. That's very good stuff. Though if you will indulge the small criticism, the red and white stripes make me think of Austria a little bit.

Also, if I may ask... where exactly are they from? Any particular place in mind or just Germany?

We're in the Black Forest region, Germany's southwest in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg. Our third kit in green actually shares a design with the 1990 German Men's National Team, though a nod to those other flags demonstrates our representation of German speakers in places like Austria and Switzerland.
