Timeline for Portal Launch
#1
Timeline
The Beta testing period has so far gone well and only a few bugs have been reported and fixed. As such we are moving ahead with the following timeline:

Week 139 (Current)
As we saw earlier last week, we have posted the first new Weekly PT thread where all claims of 6 Capped TPE that is not an Activity Check needs to be posted. It is via these new type of threads that all forum-based capped TPE will be processed and added to the Portal, so it is very important that you post in the thread to earn the additional TPE.

This will be the last week prior to the portal launching. What this means is that you must claim all of your currently unclaimed earnings (capped and uncapped) either during the week 138 or 139 update cycle for them to be added to the forum player page prior to exporting to the portal.

From week 138 and week 139, you must claim the capped TPE earnings directly in your update thread. This includes Activity Checks and weekly PTs.

If you for some reason miss this period, you will be able to claim any unclaimed earnings in a separate post we will announce later.

Week 139 would also be the first week of the next season and as such should mark the posting of the seasonal training camp. Due to the move to the portal, the training camp will only be claimable once the portal has officially launched in the beginning of Week 140.

Week 140 (next week)
This week will not have an Activity Check thread.

The import to the Portal will happen on Monday-Tuesday of this week with the planned launch of the Portal by Wednesday the 24th of July at the very latest. During the import period the portal will be closed so as to not confuse anyone. After the portal has launched you will be able to claim the weekly Activity Check and the seasonal Training Camp on your Portal player page.

Changes to procedures
The introduction of the portal will change a lot of the jobs the league has. The most drastic change is the removal of the Updater department. We would like to take this time to recognize the work that @firstfray has done as the Updater Head for more than a calendar year in the position as well as all the updaters that have helped the league out immensely during our 2.5 year lifespan. The league could not have run as smoothly without your contributions.

Here follows some important information about changes as a result of the portal.
  • Activity Checks will start and end on Sundays at 11:59:59 PACIFIC time.
  • Changes to builds are instant and not reversible. Any changes made prior to Sundays 11:59:59 PACIFIC time will be added to the file the week after.
  • To retire and keep your player for a corpse season, you will need to retire AFTER the start of the new season as announced on the forum.
  • TPE claims will automatically be submitted to the portal by the PT Team and you will immediately have the TPE added to your player and bank.
  • The Bank will now be stored in another system directly in the Portal. Store purchases will be directly added to your player instead of having to claim it after approval.
  • The forum based Update and Store assistants will be removed.
  • Player Update pages will be locked and archived after this week's updates have been processed.
  • Player Pages on the forum will not be updated after this week's updates. We are working on a player page equivalent on the Portal.
