Regional Locker Rooms
We have added Regional Locker Rooms in the main SSL Discord for the chance to connect with fellow players from your region. It is also there each Regional Manager will discuss and connect with the players before and during the tournament. There is an automatic role selector you can use to gain access to your LR.

We have hired the first batch of regional managers as follows:
Each region may have up to two regional managers so if you are still interested in helping out for any of the regions that have people assigned, let them know and we can take it from there. Any of the vacant regions are still up for grabs so if you are interested in any of those, let me or any of the BoD know.

Roster Requirements and Transfer Regulations
The working group for the tournament has decided on the following rules in regards to roster composition and transfer regulations.

Roster requirements

- A regional roster must consist of 14 players (11 starters + 3 substitutes).

- Every region must select active over inactive players (goalkeepers / outfield players) in their roster and in their starting XI. Inactive players may be used as planned (or unplanned in case of injuries) substitutions if there are no more active players eligible for selection.

- Players can be selected to play out of position and will be given a temporary change of primary position only for the tournament to the listed position.

- Every region will be given a supersub BOT that will be used as a substitute in case of emergencies similar to their use in the regular league.

Transfer regulations

- A player may transfer their WSFC eligibility once per career.

- Players eligible for transfer are:
    - A player currently eligible for the United States region.
    - A goalkeeper from a region with 2 or more non-Academy and non-retiring active status goalkeepers.

- Emergency transfers of inactive players for a specific tournament are temporary assignments in case a region has no players at a given position. The assignments will be done using a draft-like system where regional managers may pick from the pool of inactives in descending order based on the number of players needed to complete the full roster.

Timeline
The preparations leading up to the start of the tournament will include a couple of steps as follows:
  • November 18th - Transfers opens in accordance with the above transfer regulations.
  • January 5th - Deadline for Regional Managers to submit preliminary rosters.
  • January 6th - Emergency Inactive Draft of unselected inactive players.
  • January 13th - Deadline for Regional Managers to submit tournament rosters.
  • January 18th - FM file ready.
  • January 20th - Start of the tournament with friendlies.
  • February 2nd - WSFC Final

Not sure this is the right place to ask, for Temp position changes, how does it work.  My Federation has no GK if I or someone else wants to switch there temp, it is like a full reroll?  We just take our currently earned TPE and reroll to the selected position?

Specifically goalkeepers will be emergency transferred if needed.
