Bartholomew Twinkletoes - the Signature Stealer
#1
Hello, it's Jreed here with a weekly Point Task.

So, as you may know, my render is something I hold very near and dear to me as the Monopoly man for many reasons. I am a successful businessman over in the ISFL and have recently expanded my enterprise into the SSL. In the ISFL, I run a famous (2x award-winning) newspaper called the ISFL Weekly Mirror, which is incredibly successful. Furthermore, I have revenue streams from multiple nonliquid assets including ownership stake in my DSFL team, the Dallas Birddogs, as well as one of the primary stakeholders in the Black Forest Brood's state of the art new stadium. In the SSL, I haven't had as much time to gather my assets, but I hope to be the same level of success one day as Mr. Monopoly.

However, it would appear that I have pulled an unsavory fate from the Community Chest. You see, reader, it was brought to my attention, that I needed to accept my contract to get paid for the new Sao Paulo team I was just drafted to. As you know, I love money, so I went to go accept the contract at once.

However, in rookie chat, my esteemed friend and colleague Saba discussed that my new rookie render has already been used....

Needless to say I am SHOCKED and HORRIFIED that somebody would have the GALL to steal my render. However, this mere petty crime may actually have a more nefarious meaning to it. The perpetrator behind this crime is none other than my ISFL nemesis @lock180, AKA Zenzeroni Xystarch II, AKA Space Dino, AKA Bartholomew Twinkletoes, writer of FAKE and WEAK media extraordinaire. When he's not misspelling every other word and putting people to sleep with his inferior media, he can be seen trying to foil the plans of none other than the smart, ethical Jreed. He has tried many schemes to foil me and take down the Weekly Mirror, however I always manage to be one step ahead due to my superior intellect and writing skills, which is why I bring in the profits. And, I do so legally and ethically, unlike this DIABOLICAL fraudster Mr Twinkletoes.

Needless to say, this act of crime has been noticed and will not go unresolved. Thankfully, my enterprise is able to afford the finest of lawyers and we keep @roquefort on retainer to solve this pressing legal issue. I'm familiar with your tricks, Twinkletoes, and I will ensure that you are unable to see your diabolical weak schemes ever come to light.

I did not realize that there would be so much division created by a simple reference to a commonly used character. Now, Mr. Twinkletoes himself did decide to use a render that has been used previously by Mr. Jreed, however, being a goalkeeper means you're always right. So while I appreciate my teammate is defending himself, I can't help but side with my position mate on this one. I will stand trial as a witness that Mr. Twinkletoes, while devious and cunning and dishonest, simply meant respect while utilizing a common render. What is the saying, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

Jreed should be flattered that someone decided his render of choice is great enough to WANT to steal. The Weekly Mirror is, frankly, trying to spread itself too wide these days, and should stick to the ISFL reportings. There are surely enough items there to cover and it shouldn't dilute itself trying to make a story out of nothing. Mr. Twinkletoes, aka zenzeroni, does enough over there to warrant articles upon articles from the Weekly Mirror. However, I think we can all agree that goalkeepers are the last true bastion of honesty and respect in these degenerate simulation leagues. Let's let bygones be bygones on this one.
