Hey all, welcome all academy players to the S19 season, I’m excited to play with you all. I don’t know much about soccer or FM (except 25 is never going to happen sadge) but I’d like to shout out some Sydney members that I’ve really been impressed with and have made me want to actually play FM to learn what’s going on.
The Syndey gang has 5 peeps (other than moi) in the main discord and chatting, and I was really impressed to see the level of planning, strategizing, and line-up building in our chatroom. I’d like to really bring up @DivogoJota and @louis who spent an impressive amount of work trying to figure out our strats for Week 1, and I can’t wait to see the lineup in action. It does feel like our squad does have fewer actives than other teams but I know that we’re goated and it won’t matter.
I imagine our team will boss the midfield and I know that Askito Satoshi (@Zamrael), our keeper, can handle the work that’ll come with having a pair of IAs as our CDs. We’ve got loads of midfielders, a striker in me, and a steady keeper. I’m just wishing that we’ll be able to snag another defender as the season goes on! I’m predicting some high scoring games from our side and a lot of saves from keepers to keep us in some matches!
I’m going to definitely try and start that petition to get myself in a vice-captaincy role for the following weeks!
