Honest and unbiased review of each expansion team from yours truly. Let's get at it:

Shanghai Dragons FC

I don't want to say it's lazy to name a team from Shanghai the Dragons, because it certainly does fit with the history of the area. It would be neat though if it was expanded upon a little bit, maybe with a little more local flair. But it's certainly a safe team name if you're going with the region. Also, I seem to recall gold being a prominent color for luck and wealth? Or something along those lines. I should look that up. But either way, I am surprised they went with brown and black over gold and black. It looked like gold to me though so I'd say it's close enough.

I do like these kits, especially the black jersey with the dragon along the side. Very cool, I really appreciate that aesthetic.

Overall, I'd give this team a 7/10. Looking forward to seeing this team come to fruition!

Rapid Magyar SC

I'll be honest, I don't know a ton about the history of Budapest, but I really like this whole vibe. The only point I want to ding them for is that the ball in the middle of their logo looks like a volleyball instead of a soccer ball. There's a chance it's more of a religious symbol than I know, but it looks exactly like a volleyball to me.

Otherwise, their color scheme and logo are fantastic. I really dig the whole thing, and as someone who is in the minors, I can't wait to see this kit on the pitch. I'd give this squad a 9/10 for branding. Just need to figure out that ball in the middle of the logo.

So, to answer ya @CROney3!

For Shanghia, I went for the Black and gold approach, but kinda fell in love with this old gold type of color. For the namming, I know that is quite "riskless", and I have to admit that I had a fixation on the dragon part, but nearly didnt get it in the end. (The club could have been the Terracota Shanghia in another life)

For the rapid, the ball has been taken from the "Reading FC" logo. It was the design of the first Professional balls used for international games, so it tend to ressemble to another type of balls xD
