GRADED: New Manager at CABA
#1
Last week a new manager was announced for the Buenos Aires/Athenai organization int he SSL. For the first time in quiet a few season, the club will no longer be run in administration with the league and will be instead managed by the Chilean born Fernando Faizan. Truly a shock to the world of soccer, as Fernando is a relatively unknown quantity in the soccer world. It really shows the desperation of the SSL Board to finally be rid of the team.

Our historians dug deep into Mr. Faizan's history to try and discover anything on him. He grew up in Santiago, Chile the grandson of an immigrant family who had fled their home country. His father married a local Chilean woman and had Fernando at a very young age. Fernando grew up alone, both his parents working hard to make a living, usually leaving him at home. But he found solace in soccer. Playing with friends and eventually getting signed to a youth squad in Chile. Unfortunately, Fernando couldn't keep up, and would only play 5 appearances for a Chilean Division 2 side.

The twist comes in the rumors that Fernando somehow made his way onto the Alpine coaching staff this past World Cup. Best guess is that experience is what showed the SSL he was enough for the job in Buenos Aires. Mr. Faizon now has a monumental task ahead of him in CABA/Athenai, negativing the cuttthroat space of Organizational Management in the SSL in the time of the biggest changes to the SSL in the 2 team expansion this offseason.
