For this seasons theme week I might as well take the chance to write about some of the things I really enjoy in my own time.
1. Videogames
A mid 20s guy liking videogames? Who would've thought! But what does Zema enjoy playing? Well for starters, I love myself some Football Manager. Another large surprise! But no, I've been playing this game for the past decade, starting out with a borrowed version of FM 2012 and buying my first edition the following season. I'd say I have clocked about 2,5k hours into the game in total over those 10 years.
But outside of the FM sphere, I love games that either includes a) building something up from the ground (management games such as FM, EHM or stuff like Prison Architect and Cities Skyline) or
competitive multiplayer games. Namely in that category being Counter Strike: Global Offensive or even more prominenetly League of Legends, a game I've played since 2011.
2. TV Shows
Hey, I like TV shows as well! Insane, I know. The type of show I like varies a ton depending on genre, so I'll just list some of them. For comedy I hold Parks and Recreation, Brooklyn Nine Nine, Community and Bojack Horseman (comedy lmao) in high regard.
As for more serious shows, I couldn't really say. There are some absolute gem in the last couple of years such as Mindhunter which swept me aside. Breaking Bad is a classic, and so is True Detective season 1.
Animated shows? Heck yeah! I previously mentioned Bojack, but can't ever leave this space without mentioning Avatar (both of them), Arcane or Attack on Titan who have been great in recent times.
3. Sports
Those who knew me from before the SSL probably did that from the SHL. So, it should come to no surprise that my two main sports are hockey and football. As for which one I like the most, it varies slightly. I love the tactical aspects of football a ton. Seeing the movements and flow of the game with a gameplan coming to fruition. Love it. But, hockey is the superior sport overall. The intensity, the speed, the energy. It's unmatched.
