Slow but steady does it, is the motto that Montréal United midfielder Cameron Millwall lives by. The defensive midfielder's second season in the SSL's minor league is coming to a close - and while he's not a world beater out there, Millwall surely has established himself as solid rotation player with the upside for more down the road. His rookie campaign turned out to be a mostly quiet one. With one year of pro experience under his belt, Millwall has has gotten accustomed quite well to the levels of play. He has scored a goal and played two assists in league games.

While Montréal will not be able to repeat their championship glory of last season, they still had a solid campaign that saw finish in the top quarter of the standings. With the United's talent pipeline remaining as fluent as always, the team is expected to remain the minor league's top competition for the foreseeable future. Millwall should be a key part of Montréal's lineup in the next season. "I'm more than ready to put in the work," the midfielder said in a social media post. "The grind never stops for me. I feel like I can be a lot better, and it needs me to stick to the training schedule laid out by the coaching staff."
