Fans all around the world rejoice as the SSL will kick off again tomorrow in the evening hours: Football is back, finally. Montreal United will face off with North Shore United. It should prove to be quite the test for the Canadians, as they go up against last season's runner up. The United had a good season themselves, coming in fifth in the standings table not too far behind North Shore. It was drop off from the season before however, when they were able to win the minor league championship.

With the friendly against North Shore ahead, German midfielder Cameron Millwall said that "the energy within the team is just tremendous. Everybody on the roster is ready, we're eager to get back into live action." The time off forced by the league's hiatus surely proved to be difficult but it seems that Montreal's players all managed to stay in game shape. "It was obvious during our training sessions. We want to get back on top of the minor league. We want to reclaim the title. The United fans are in for a good season," Millwall later said. "Coaching staff made sure to light a fire under our behinds. They want this as much as we do."
