What's that saying my dad used to tell me? "Diamonds are made under pressure" or something? If that's the case, then we're going to be the brightest diamonds in the league at this rate. Another crushing loss, the fourth since I joined in the start of July, and our sixth non-win decision as well. The day we get our first win is going to be a special game, I can feel it!
It's not all doom and gloom, despite the 6-1 score line, because I finally got my first goal! I don't typically think of myself as a goal scorer, but the pass that Thad sent my way was far too beautiful for me to do anything other than score off it. One shot, one goal!
Back to the criticism for the game. Barely eked out over 50% on successful passing today out of the 23 that left my talons, and couldn't hit a single one of my six crosses today. Knocked out a 6.6 rating while I was at it. Like last time, I know what I need to work on, and I'll spend the next few days working on it.
We should be taking on Port Royal next. It'll be my first time in Jamaica, and I hope that my feathers don't trap too much moisture. The heat and I don't usually mix, but I don't plan on letting that keep me down or hold me back. After all, if I'm going to get my first win with Medellin, I need to be in the best shape possible! I'll try and find some time to check in with my folks, let them know how much fun I've been having, even if the results haven't bee going our way.
