Instead of staying at his own club, he left his family and friends behind to chase his dream all the way in Stockholm IK Academy.
Volkan has faced criticism for leaving his country, but he’s determined and believes in the power of the Academy to help him grow.

Volkan, primarily a Winger but according to his old coaches, he can play anywhere in the front three. His speed and accelaration are top notch for his age but he definitetly does not lack the technical abilities for his position.
If he is playing in either flanks, he likes to dribble and cut in from both to be a proper goal threat.
He does not have enough experience as a striker but by the news we got from his new coach at Stockholm IK, he might get some minutes as a Striker as well.
Volkan will play his first friendly game next week at his new club. And we will be following closely to see his development.
