After my well deserved holiday I had to report to the academy. All young lads trying to make it in the SSL some day and have their great breakthrough. We had a crash course in how any of this stuff works and how we have to update ourselves and how to earn TPE and money. It is a lot to take in, but honestly we will figure it out along the way I guess. We did a few training sessions together and then we got split up into different academy teams. I am with the Jakarta team for now, which seems like a nice fun group so far. I was also invited to join the Benelux lockerroom. It is fun but also kind of weird to see Dutch and Belgium players playing together for the same national team. But we all know that Flanders should one day be part of the Netherlands anyway. It is for the best. I have also been busy working on same tasks that will pave the way for my future career in the SSL and also get teams to know and notice me ahead of the entry draft. Got to make a good impression if I want to land with a great team and sign a big contract.
