Season 22 started out with a bang for Schwarzwälder FV, as they trashed AC Romana in a stunning 8-0 defeat. The Italian side proved to be no match for the Germans: Led by Maggie Sinclair's hattrick and Wang Zhihao's brace, SFV also saw Mei Sukzuki, Dina Skovgaard, and Cameron Millwall. For the latter, that was especially memorable given that the game was his first ever game in the SSL major league. He had spent the last three season with Montreal United, only to make the big jump in this summer. His homecoming to Europe then proved to be a special one: In the 82nd minute, he was in the right spot at the right time to slot in the rebound of an unsuccessful Mei Sukzuki shot attempt for SFV's seventh goal of the game.
