Just as quickly as it all started, we’ve really hit the slog of the midseason. I’m grinding away at these darned 25TPE increases to acceleration and pace, and Rova continues to get themselves into tight defensive affairs with a whole heck of a lot of commentary only time. So really, I don’t have a whole lot to report on Kaspars Kalinins’ on-field performance, because outside of a pretty cool assist sometime last week, I actually haven’t seen him play at all. It’s actually making me want to download the sim file and figure out FM24 just enough to watch a bunch of Rova matches and see what happens.
But in the meantime, I was opt to daydream and imagine how fast he is running, how well-positioned he is, and how many of his passes he completes. I bet he is right in there, in the middle of play, drawing defenders, distributing the ball, and defending his territory with ease. I bet teams are terrified to play against him, and get themselves all worked up trying to outmanoeuvre his tactical genius. Surely that must be the case, since I do not have any evidence to the contrary. The onus is on the simmers to prove me wrong.
