Peach Toadstool smiles as she takes a sip of some champagne. She was trying to avoid it getting poured on her, but her teammates were partying a bit too hard, so she gets quite a bit on her jersey. The Victoria Falls Eagles have just been awarded the Academy cup, and everyone on the team was celebrating. Heck, even Spore was celebrating... Perhaps a bit too much. He was stumbling around, already on his 2nd glass of champagne.
"Umm Spore dear, you should probably stop with this glass" Peach says as she gently takes the glass away from Spore, holding it high so that he could not grab it "you seem to be stumbling around a bit, I do believe that you have had a bit too much"
"Hey...I haven't had that much" Spore says as he tries to reach for the glass before he trips and falls on his behind "I'm fine to keep going, just... Just give me the glass..." Spore then stumbles a bit more before falling into a nearby locker and falling asleep
"Oh dear..." Peach sighs before gently picking up Spore and talking to the team "excuse me, but I must excuse myself. Spore cannot hold his liquor unfortunately. I am going to call a taxi or Uber and head back to my condo." The team nods and wave as she heads out, and she puts on a pink hoodie and undoes her ponytail before looking up an Uber that can take them both home. Once they get into the Uber and get on the road, Spore started to wake up.
"Ugggh my head..." Spore says as he sits up "what's going on? Last thing I remember we were partying in the locker room..."
"Well you have had a bit too much alcohol" Peach says gently "but I would not worry too much, you had a right to celebrate."
"Yeahhh..." Spore sighs, gripping his head as he tries to clear his mind. "Can we stop somewhere and get something to eat?"
"We'll eat once we get home, we are almost there." Peach looks through her phone, smiling as she sees the post of her and the rest of the team holding up the Academy cup "I guess we have achieved everything that we wanted to in the Academy. I guess the next step is the entry draft"
"Yeahhh... I have no idea where you will be going, or when. I don't even want to think right now" Spore says, closing his eyes in pain.
"Then just relax Spore. Once we get home you can go inside and rest-" Peach sees what is waiting for her at her condo, as a bunch of reporters are here to interview her about the Eagles cup victory.
"Ugggh, I'll help answer some questions-"
"No, you are going to go inside and rest" Peach says, opening the door for them both "that is an order from your Princess, understood?"
"Yes I understand, your Highness" Spore smiles a bit as Peach pushes him through the reporters.
"Ugh, it's like he forgets that I have had a ton of experience with public speaking" Peach sighs before turning to the reporters "now remember, one question at a time..."
