The Dirty Secret Tokyo S.C. Doesn't Want You to Know
#1
I know what your thinking. How could someone like Jess have a dirty secret within their org? Who the heck his HelloBeeper and why does he get to post clickbaity articles at will? Well guess what! This isn't click bait and Jess isn't who you thought she was. I was ecstatic upon being drafted by Tokyo as they seemed very friendly when contacting me when they became interested in signing me. Unbeknownst to me I was about to enter a program built upon indoctrinating people into the cult known as Tokyo S.C. All bound together by a drug they call wordle. They have a lovely discord with many different channels, some related to the SSL and others not. However, one above all in Tokyo S.C. spams notification after notification until, like a moth drawn to the flame you enter the channel they have titled "The Farmyard". Sounds innocuous enough at face value right? Farmyard brings to mind cute and cuddly animals. Who hasn't been to a petting zoo or driven past a field filled with horses or cows and wanted to go watch them frolic? However, this farmyard wants only one animal. Sheep!! Every day without fail you see people talking about today's wordle, either bemoaning their poor result or congratulating themselves on the back for an impressive 2 or 3 try win. You see this, day after day after day, until finally you can't help yourself. That play now button is sitting there, beckoning you to click on it and be one of the wordies. Once you finally do your met with a rather simple set up for the daily wordle game. You think, hey I was good at English in school this will be easy, I looked in the dictionary once. You find only a dismal result. 5 guesses, 6 guesses, all the while your fellow teammates are getting the word in 3 to 4 guesses max leading you to feeling inadequate. You spend sleepless nights wondering, what you did wrong. Why can't you just get the word like they can? 3 weeks later and your one of them, looking forward to placing your guesses the following day. Replaying your finest guesses and hoping only to relive the dopamine rush on the days when your name is at the top of the list in The Farmyard. You no longer even question, Should you be giving in to peer pressure, spending your time thinking about your next wordle hit? Your in too deep now and you know, you can never find what you have in Tokyo S.C.'s farm yard anywhere else. Your here.....and there is no way to escape THE FARMYARD.
