Montréal United - CS Rova Mpanjaka
#1
In a tight contest Montréal managed to eek out a victory against CS Rova Mpanjaka.
Two goals of Vincent Haye in the 3rd and 28th minute of the match saw the end result of the match go to 2-1.

Before the match CS Rova Mpanjaka was looking for a win to enter into the title fight against Cairo City and Inter London.
Rova was looking for an easy match against last placed Montréal who managed to get only 1 point in 5 matches.

Montréal came out of the dressing room with a chance in the first minute after kick-off. Daruglus got a shot in on goal however it was a shot through the center which was easily saved by Schwarzer.
However only two minutes later Haye could kick the ball into the net after an unlucky clearance from Ureña that hit Schwarte, after which the ball landed in front of Haye.
After this goal Rova seemed to pick up the pace with chances from Schuurmans and Rocket however it was again Haye that picked up the 2-0 after a great crossing from Andrews Jr. in the 27th minute.

After the 2-0 Rova tried to get one over Montréal however at halftime the score was still 2-0 with not that many noteworthy attempts by Rova.

After halftime Haye was replaced by Häkkinen and Darugius was replaced by Schmidt.

Grudner did something back against Montréal in the 51st minute after a great pass by Schuurmans from the right side of the field.
Although the VAR had a little look the goal was awarded.
After the 2-1 there was a bit off a lull in the match however from the 65th minute both teams managed to get some chances in, mostly from deep passes in the box however the attackers from both teams were wasteful in their attempts.
The biggest chance for Rova was a shot by Turk in the 88th minute but it didn't result in a goal.
In the end the two goals from Haye were enough to get the victory over the line for Montréal.

Rova will be looking for a revanche in their next match whilst Montréal will be looking to take this win as a step-up to a better season performance in the coming matches.
Cairo and Inter will thank Montréal for their performance as this season is starting to look like a two horse race between Inter London and Cairo City, with both teams managing to get 15 points out of the played 6 matches.
