A Brief Look At Kaz Okada's Early Sporting Life
#1
A look at Kaz Okada's early days before he soon joins his Academy Team.

Kaz Okada was born in Anjo, Aichi, Japan, under his full name of Kazuchika.  As a child, he was full of energy, always running around and in so much, his parents began enrolling him in different sports to try and find him an outlet for his youthful spirit.  Baseball was fine, but it wasn't quite his style.  He joined the track team in middle school, proving to be quite fast in the process, but still, he wasn't happy.

Then one day, while he was killing some time before his bus would arrive to go home, and he finally decided to check out the other kids playing soccer.  He had always been told it was boring, but actually giving it a shot, he was seeing how much beauty there was in it. Bursts of energy, players becoming field generals and changing the tempo of the game itself.  Then he saw one player who really caught his eye. It wasn't one of the ones running up the field yelling for the ball; it was a quiet one, somewhere between the ones that stayed back and the ones that seemed to run the most in the middle.  He kept his eyes on that player, seeing him become calculating, finding other players to keep pace with. The player would sometimes put his own body on the line, blocking the other team's shots.  It wasn't like he wasn't useful in regards to the ball itself, either, taking a swing to keep the ball deep down the field, hoping to break one of the fast guys into the open so they could score.

This was what he wanted.

He begged his parents when he got home to let him try it, to let him play soccer. Since they were still trying to find an activity for their son to enjoy, before the week was out, they had found a team for him to join, and soon, Kaz's love affair with soccer started to bloom.  Set to join an Academy Team within the next few days, hopefully, he's happy his journey continues.
