Back to the training.
The past season was simply great euphoria, and being one of the main architects of our promotion as a rookie is something that will never fail to make me proud of how much I've made myself useful to the team. Now we are, in some way, in the big league of the Minors. To help with the comparisons, think of the G League or even the NCAA in American Basketball.
Speaking of American, one of our rookies for this season is a fantastic center-back coming from the Port Royal Academy, named Jimothy Erickson. He's very lively and invested, even since his days in the academy, and since we really needed some help at the analytic team…
This sentence is a little long, so I'll write it differently. Predrag (and not Predag like in my past posts) became the new Organizational Manager, the "Emperor" as we like to call it. Since it will be much more work than what he previously did, he brought our rookie Jimothy as his Assistant Manager. And since I came from a tech university and used to roam around the Analytics Dept. (I'm sorry, can't remember the exact name), I'll be the Chief Analyst of the team, Matrix-ing my way into other teams' strategists' minds to extract every single bit of…
Oh, I've done it again.
I'll just do the boring and tiring part of all this : testing what will work and what won't, and pass it to the managers for them to decide. Data analytics and BI aren't that fun, said like that…
Anyway, there is also another rookie, Maurjiro Rivers. Our Meister Blobbe was, all things considered, imperial, and Maurjiro coming for the striker spot as a left-side attacker is not going to be an easy task for him. I really hope he's not going to be too disappointed when training against me and not scoring a single one (insert dogeek laugh here, don't remember which one it is).
Another thing (maybe the last, I don't know at this point), I've swapped my graphics tools. I got the occasion to sneak into Caroni's room during the draft crunch, even doing some renders together. Mines were too bad (or too good to be truly mine, depends who you ask) I decided to leave my usual tools and started looking for new ones. That's when he saw me and showed me where I could find the tools he was using. Then I just started using it and after multiple days of learning and crafting workflow, I felt at ease with them. I just got rolling and finished some of my parts of the crunch on time, unfortunately leaving out some of them.
Finally (or not), I bothered Aoi for a new sig. It was funny, letting my imagination go certain ways, and agreeing on something I would dare to consider "my style" for the signature.
I guess that is all I wanted to say about the offseason. I met a sponsor and we plan on somthing, I'll probably tell you all about it in another one, once the details are finalized.
See you later !

PS: Trying to recreate the Charles Leclerc "Must be the water", now the title sounds so bad but I'll keep it...
