First of all, I would like to take the time and thank my new organization Schwarzwälder FV for drafting me. Bonus points because they drafted me as a German to the German Organization. For now I will make my way over to Canada to compete in the Minors but I will be back home as part of the Schwarzwälder FV in the Majors once I am called up.
From an entertainment stand point the draft is fun to watch, even if you, like me, were unable to watch it live and just rewatched it later. I think it was well done with the renders of the players and the commentary. I decided against watching previous drafts as I wanted to experience it for the first time with my draft class, so I can not comment on other drafts but I would recommend watching or rewatching this one and I will make sure to tune in for future drafts.
On the more personal side, getting to know the players at SFV, whether they are veterans or fellow draft class members, has been a lot of fun. I felt welcomed from the first second of setting foot on the discord, the chat is lovely and active, lots of interesting topics are discussed, both football related an non-football related. Obviously I got drafted into an organization which is in the middle of a rebuild, but I believe this to be a great opportunity. Given time, I am sure we will be competing for titles again.
