A few weeks after moving to Port Royal to join his academy team, Vincent Haye has settled into a comfortable routine. While soccer, team success, and his personal growth are very important to Haye, his favorite days are team rest days, when there are no games or practice. After a simple breakfast of orange juice and granola, Haye will set out for a light run through the city. After a bit of exploration and experimentation, Vincent has been running the same route for the last few weeks. Haye heads towards the old district at about 9 am, where he smells all the incredible foods the older restaurants are making. There is fresh morning bread. Other shops are preparing jerk chicken for the lunch rush. The occasional wafting hint of spicy jalapenos and pimentos being fire-roasted. All of these smells and spices fill Vincent with a large appetite, as his pace slows down so he can appreciate which restaurant each delectable smell is coming from. He continues his run out of the old district and to the harbor, where he takes a break. He attempts to time his arrival at the harbor with when the first catches of the morning arrive back at port. He scrutinizes each boat’s haul, contemplating what to purchase to make for his lunch.
