oh nyo we didnt come up with something, a team did something in their best interest then lets cite the we get to do whatever the fuck we want rule hell theres other teams id play for. id play for inter london. id play for catalunya. i would perhaps play for others if i talked to them, but as one of those pending free agents, of course id stay on the damn team. pau van and aneeq is the main reason for me to ever have bothered giving a shit about ssl. not that the board of directors here have helped. the BoD here only gives a shit about tearing apart the souls of each team because it lives in a vaccum where value is absolute. my butt sure wouldnt go to a team that cares about inactives more than getting people who are actually active anyways it's hard for me to stay in the commentary position and it's hard for me at this point to stay in the league. i care about more things than soccer and im here to enjoy myself.

I like to stay out of these things normally because if you say anything you usually come out looking like a jack-ass to someone because we all have different perspectives. this punishment sets a precedent for "spirit of the game" to be preserved. From what I know GMs were asked if there were any exploits in the rules for this expansion causing an unfair situation for the expansion teams. For those of you who think this is a punishment due to teams having a good locker room and players not wanting to leave. You're missing the point. The punishment is actively undermining the spirit of the game and teams entering having a fair spot at competing. Also rules were written cleverly to allow for this.
