This makes it hard sometimes for people to get a hold of me. However, I happened to have some free time while in my 2nd home of Tokyo and decided to take a trip to Nara. I had heard of the infamous deer park and had always wanted to visit, and I had the opportunity.

It was amazing! I was able to make new friends and new fans of both the sport and the league! As much fun as I was having, I did have to go back to the capital to be able to prepare for my next game. I must have made a very lasting impression on the deer, as not long after, during my train trip back to Tokyo, I got a phone call. It was the Deer Park, or more specifically the Nara Deer Preservation Foundation. They wanted to sponsor me. I was so excited I could hardly speak. I said yes as fast as I could, which wasn't too fast since I was stumbling over my words. As part of the sponsorship deal, for every block I recorded, or goal I scored, I would donate 6,000 yen to the foundation. I would also come out in my Tokyo Jersey and a soccer ball and advertise the park and the foundation.

As a bonus, I did a free meet and greet for the deer of Nara, and gave the little fawns a signed mini soccer ball. It was so cute to watch them try to kick it around and stumble around it. I also bought a few tvs and a subscription package to both the Tokyo SC games along with a subscription package for the Minnesota Monarchs of the SHL. The little ones were treating me like I was famous, which I guess to them I am. They listened intently to my stories about playing football and hockey (Sakka and Aisuhokke in Japanese).

Unfortunately it was time for me to go. It was a little heartbreaking to see the fawns all sad when I was leaving, but I still had a job to do. As one more little thing, I added a little goalpost so the fawns could practice. Maybe one of them will make it to the SSL like I had.

APPROVED

She resisted it at first, because she didn't want to be considered a sell-out, but when she and a few of the other female players in the league were asked to do some work on a campaign to push for more representation of female athletes in video games, she couldn't turn down the opportunity to work on something so near and dear to her heart. Helena hates it when she is playing a video game and all of the athletes in the game are assumed to be male and there are no options for more feminine player appearances. It's also very obnoxious when she is watching the captions or listening to the play-by-play of the game and it's all "oh, he's bungled that badly" and "and there's another one for him, what a year he is having!" with no option for female or gender-neutral pronouns. She was happy for the opportunity to raise awareness about this problem and to do her part to be a part of the solution.

Unfortunately, after she had already contractually agreed to do this, she discovered that she would be partnering with another woman in the league - none other than her arch-nemesis Eirlys Snooks. This led to some incredibly tense interactions while they were doing promotional materials for the campaign. Helena and Eirlys managed to avoid getting into a fight while they were filming audio and video clips and doing promotional photoshoots. She doesn't know how Eirlys feels about it, but Helena is pretty proud of the fact that they didn't get into any fights at all while working together on this. (Except for maybe that one time in the parking lot where Eirlys totally blocked her in and she didn't get home until late). All in all, it turned out to be a pretty cool campaign - the people leading the campaign were very excited to have the two of them on board, and they raised enough interest off of this campaign that a major video game company invested a lot of money soon afterwards to improve the player render designs in their soccer game to include not just more feminine options, but some non-binary options as well, and Helena is proud to have been a part of it.

APPROVED

Player page
CPT #2

Anyone that knows George Costanza knows that he has a bit of a sweet tooth. If it’s got chocolate, icing, frosting, or even vaguely made of sugar, George has probably at least tried it once or twice in his life and likely more often than that. Every lunch and dinner ends with a dessert of some kind. George would do it at breakfast too except he doesn’t want the judgment as some people apparently don’t think digging into a piece of pie at 8am is appropriate! Fortunately, the fact George has a strenuous workout regimen and the fact he has to run literally almost 7 miles every game helps counteract the effects of his dessert addiction and you’d never know by looking at him how many desserts he eats.

While he isn’t overly picky about his desserts, George does have a few favorites. Key lime pie and cookie dough ice cream are at the top of his list. However, George’s favorite sweet treat isn’t fancy or hard to find, as George loves Snickers. Just something about that peanutty, caramel, nougat combination does something for George. Also easy to find worldwide and travels well in a backpack or suitcase so he’s never without. If you’ve ever tried to put a pint of ice cream in your carryon you know what I mean.

So imagine how excited he was when his agent was contacted by Snickers to become a sponsor for the internationally known candy bar? He couldn’t believe it, it was probably one of the most exciting moments of his life. At first, George was willing to work for a lifetime supply of Snickers bars, but his agent convinced him to ask for real money instead. Apparently he didn’t want to get paid in Snickers either. It wasn’t long before George was all over the place on Snickers bar wrappers, billboards, and radio ads. By far his most favorite was appearing in one of the classic ‘You're Not You When You're Hungry’ Snickers TV commercials. Anyone that knows George in real life knows that he does get a bit hangry at times and a Snickers does wonders to perk him up so it was only natural that he appeared in the ad.

CODE

371 words

APPROVED

Budget Busquets is opening up his own independent Catalan broadcasting company. This is a football based broadcasting company and plays all CF Catalunya matches as well as all SSL Cup matches in both Catalan and English (not Spanish though). The purpose is to give an alternative network of football entertainment. This also includes training clips, player interviews, biopics, and more. Budget Busquets's own series The Breakdown With Budget Busquets and Buddies has just released its first episode with plans to produce more.

Budget Busquets's ambitions is to start broadcasting all SSL matches to be view all around the world. First though, is to start small and build up from his home in Catalunya. With a contract with CF Catalunya to broadcast all their matches for the next 5 seasons, Budget Busquets is hoping that it'll catch on and eventually they can become the first official broadcast partner of the SSL.

Busquets sponsored himself as their first brand ambassador knowing he could represent the values of his brand most. Despite that, Budget Busquets is looking to sponsor other players on his squad like Shion Okamoto, Alexandra Gunnarsson, and Jökull Júlíusson as well as other players in the league in the future. Thus, we could be seeing some new names and faces on some of their programming between matches.

Another goal of Busquets is to have the matches in all the different native languages of the SSL. Every club having their own club matches broadcast in their own language, making it accessible to all the native audiences. Having it in English is beneficial since it's one of the most widely spoken languages, but that too could eventually expand to more languages.

One of Budget Busquets' biggest inspirations is the Nike Joga Bonito commercials. Budget Productions is made by footballers for footballers. The goal is to bring back the beautiful of the sport and give players the ability to express themselves and have fun playing football. He thinks with the diversity of talent in the SSL that he could recreate a similar flair to his own productions. Busquets is already in talks with several brands to broadcast their advertisements. For Busquets, it's a lot of fun and he loves that he can help reignite creativity and fun into the game he loves.

CODE

381 words

APPROVED

His first corporate sponsorship and it is none other than the Coop Group from his home country of Switzerland. The Coop Group is a Swiss retail chain and is one of the largest retailers in Switzerland. Xherdan Xhaka lived near a Coop and used to go shopping there all the time with his family for groceries!

Xherdan Xhaka featured heavily in promotions for Coop since it's announcement that he had been picked up to be the face of the organisation. The media days now consist of Xherdan Xhaka showing off a lot of the new products coming on to the shelves in the near future! Xherdan Xhaka even gets to use his swiss german again, which he misses so much ever since moving to Sydney City. Something about being back home in Switzerland and supporting a brand that he genuinely enjoys is very rewarding for Xherdan Xhaka.

His favourite part of this deal is that Xherdan Xhaka is also given access to certain products to test out on behalf of the Coop Group. So it is a sort of give and take relationship. Yes Xherdan Xhaka is getting paid for his cooperation with the Coop Group, but the ability to test out new drinks such as sports drinks to see if they can help his rehabilitation or performances on the field is something that he can not ignore.

Xherdan Xhaka is slowly trying to get to grips with media days as he is usually just known for going about his own business, rather than getting in front of a camera or a microphone. With the new corporate sponsorship, there are going to be a lot more situations in which Xherdan Xhaka will have to get in front of people and speak. His agent and him have already discussed getting a potential PR team to learn how to talk the media.

However, for now, Xherdan Xhaka is just going to try and abuse the fact that he gets his favourite Coop Group products and gets to try and promote his favourite products to the people of his own country!

CODE

355 words

APPROVED

I don't think there has been a coach, player, trainer, arena worker that he hasn't been approached regarding getting in on his business. Hell, he even hits up the opposing players DURING the games about it.

There was this one time before the first training camp where we had a team fund-raising event which the owner of the team was attending that gives a chance for the players acquired during the teams offseason to meet and greet. A generally pleasantly fun and relaxing evening for all. Little did anyone realize that the only reason Jarrow was there was to pitch his rum as a sponsor to the owner of the team.

Everyone who was anyone was in attendance that night. From team management to top dollar donors to high-end corporate executives, they were all there. The owner of Hollywood FC showed up fashionably late and that's when the excitement began as Jarrow wasted no time. The moment he locked eyes on the arriving owner he shoved his way through all other attendees with absolute reckless abandonment. Men. Women. Executives. Teammates. It didn't matter who they were, if they were in the way, they weren't for long.

As people in full suits and evening gowns were being littered in every direction, Jarrow was screaming at the top of his lungs "MR. OWNER! MR. OWNER! I HAVE A BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU MR. OWNER!!! A SPONSORSH---". Jarrow was taken down by an alert security guard before he could reach the obviously shocked owner who had no idea who this screaming lunatic was let alone what he was shouting about. The crowd loudly murmured as Jarrow was dragged down the hallway and out of the event centre banished to watch the rest of the festivities from the front gates before it even began.

How Spack wasn't traded that very night is still a mystery.

Even stranger, it worked. After some time passed, the owner calmed down and reacted better to a level-headed sales pitch by the Captain Jarrow's Rum marketing team. Soon after it was announced that the Hollywood FC was proud to join the growing list of sports teams to be sponsored by the rum along-side the Anchorage Armada of the SMJHL.

[ 402 words ]

APPROVED

This is really how you know you've sort of made it in the Simulation Soccer League. It's a big day for everyone involved as they have been trying to iron out a deal for a really long time, but Awesome is really happy to announce that he is going to be the face of an exciting new brand. Cerveza Cerveza, is a Barcelona Beer, brewed by Cerveseria Cerveza. It's been long rumored that once the young Italian got to Spain, he quickly fell in love with this really simple, but refreshing beer. He is known to be seen at the beaches in Barcelona draining Cervezas, which was what peaked the interest of Cerverseria in the first place.

After visiting the brewery and talking with the owners, there were some initial concerns about an athlete endorsing the brand/beer, but McPossum quickly quelled those, simple suggesting maybe everyone drinks beer and wouldn't this be a good thing to represent them, the every persons drink? With that in mind, the owners of the Cerveseria decided that is exactly the image and attitude they wanted from their official sponsor. So they couldn't be more pleased to bring McPossum into the family. The move was made official in the off season, as McPossum was seen again on a beach with teammates and a lot of Cerveza around him. He was quoted as saying "beh, amo la birra, amo il calcio e amo l'aria aperta, perché non dovrei festeggiare in questo modo" Which is simply, what McPossum is really all about.

There are a few whispers coming from this partnership as well, as the club in Catalunya, may make the brand an official team partner, having the drink be at every home match. McPossum has also expressed direct interest in becoming a financial backer for the brand in the future as well. Is this going to be something that creates immense growth for the player, club and brand, only time will really tell on that front. As for now, this McPossum is just excited to have an official corporate sponsor and an official beer to his name.

APPROVED

This energy drink replaces the GFuel sponsorship that Sydney City had as well, proving that Tim Possible does not only look out for himself, but he also looks out for his teammates. Even though Tim Possible is a very healthy man, he sponsors and shills this energy drink company because the money is very nice and it is owned by one of his personal friends. Well, at least now it is after a new tycoon bought the company out and hired Tim Possible to be the new face of Rogue Energy which includes an ad campaign overhaul. Tim Possible will now feature in radio, tv and newspaper/magazine ads. Tim Possible's relationship with Rogue Energy will have the Rogue Energy Sponsored Sydney City Roo with a Tim Possible jersey on the sideline pitch for every game that Sydney City is at home for. During every interview, Tim Possible will hold Rogue Energy cans in his hand and is contractually obligated to take a sip from this Rogue Energy can every single time that he answers a question.

This corporate sponsorship not only helps out Tim Possible and Sydney City, it will also help out Tim Possible's movie studio "Possible Productions" as they gain money to keep producing blockbuster films such as "Sydney Made" and "Top Strike: Daredevil" or even his big budget movie "Mission Possible". These Rogue Energy cans will appear in these movies as product placement and a national campaign for meeting Tim Possible sweepstakes has also been announced. There will be a sticker inside 11 lucky cans of Rogue Energy drinks. If this sticker is inside this can, you get a 24 hour meet and greet with Tim Possible where he personally accommodates you in his luxury hotel in Sydney. It is not known how this sticker function will work inside the can when there is energy drink liquid inside it and there are questions of potential money laundering with this new partnership but that is not Tim Possible's problem. He is getting the bag and he does not care

APPROVED

Alexandra was sitting at home, eating her 16th Hangikjot Taco of the day when the phone rang from Taco Bell HQ. It was a dream come true. This meant the world to Alexandra and it meant that things would change for the better for her. Not that things were bad by any stretch of the imagination, but things got a lot more fun. She would see her cardboard cutout in every Taco Bell in Iceland for people to take photos with and put silly hats on for the enjoyment of all in the lobby. She would get to design her own custom menu item that she could either keep exclusive or release to the world to enjoy. The power was in her hands.
The only issue is, Alexandra is not that creative of a person. She’s a bit eccentric on the soccer field and occasionally will be seen just casually chilling at midfield or in the stands with some fans, but otherwise she’s a pretty boring person. She would spend countless hours at night, tossing and turning while trying to find the perfect blend of the same 5 ingredients Taco Bell puts into everything, before the idea finally hit her. One night, while hanging out with her partner Gracie Baker, she grabbed a fish from the shores of the water off of Reykjavik, rubbed it three times for inspiration and looked to the heavens to say “thank you.” Grabbing her phone she called the representative immediately and said “The Spicy Potato Crunchwrap Supreme.”
The Spicy Potato Crunchwrap Supreme comes with a large Baja Blast, nachos with cheese, and a signed hard taco shell signed by Alexandra. Does it ruin a perfectly good taco shell? Yeah. But this is what she dreamed of ever since she was a little girl. She looked at all her favorite athletes ahead of her get their own tacos and own quesadillas. Now it was her turn, she was for whom the Taco Bell tolls.

APPROVED

As such, it only makes sense that he has picked up his first big sponsorship deal with the company Cairo Caps! The company, which is headquartered right next to Cairo City's home stadium, produces headwear of all varieties, from headbands and caps to winter wear, bonnets, and bandanas.

It's said the company is hoping to utilize their connections and sponsorship with Azpilicueta to develop a budding relationship with the team. A spokesperson for the company said they would love to eventually sponsor the team as a whole and become a jersey sponsor. "Just think of the giveaways we could do at matches! What fan wouldn't want a customized Cairo City snapback cap?! What's better than getting some shade from the harsh Egyptian sun while repping your favorite squad?" they stated.

Always interested in helping the community, Azpilicueta is rumored to be planning to use the sponsorship funds to help build and maintain soccer pitches in the Cairo community, while also overseeing and funding free high-level youth academies in the area. "Cairo is a soccer city, and we have too many kids who don't have a decent pitch to play on.
