#8 Nearing the Summit [Open to S22 Players]
#61
Off-Season

As Mazeed agent, the phrase "near the top" is really appropriate in this case. At the current time I'm writting this, Tenochtitlan is one game away to win their second league cup and it would be Al-Kazmi first trophy. The energy is tense is the lockeroom, you can feel the lower level of oxygen as we approach what could be the peak of his career.

He as always played for one organization since his career started in the SSL. Playing with Krung Thep for most of it, building the culture, forming lasting frienship, experiencing hard losses, roaring in the stade as they defeated Paris and their what was looking to be their unstoppable winning streak.. Truly an inspiring career but one thing as eluded him all this time.. A championship, and now, he is extremly close to achieve his goal, the goal of many players.

And what if that dream come true in the next match ? What is going to happen to Mazeed ? He may be at his peak but, the career isn't finish just yet, there is other opportunities before it is really the end. During that time, as one of the youngest captain in the league to be in command of a Major League Team, he will use the precious time left to work on more intelligent ways to have an impact on the field. Oh right, there is also one more thing, the most important thing, and that is to be a mentor for all the news players coming in the league, the organization and on the team.

His roles on the team was never to be the star, it was always to make a team more solid but deciding to do the dirty work. Elevating the team and individual was always his goal in this league, but also scoring them from time to time because let's be honest, it is satisfying to score a goal and see the crowd going wild. And who knows, maybe one day, another player under the wing of Mazeed will arrive on the in the league and be a star of its own. But that's looking too far in the future, for now let's focus on the present, at dawn of a championship match, legends are going to emerge from this match and there is only one way to know the outcome and that's.. one mangoe at the time

Tom Mæddisen has played his entire career for the Schwarzwälder Fußballverein / Montreal United Organization. Being drafted in back in S22 with a bit of a fuss as then Assistant manager, but not for long enough to be autodrafted by the team assistant managing for. But with some clear messages that Tom Mæddison would only play for the team currently assistant managing for he managed to get drafted by the organization he wanted to play for. And plan to play for as long as he is an active player. Unfortunately the closure is creeping upon Tom Mæddisen fast. There are not that many seasons left in him. This is the second to last career point task as well. You know you are near the end when they are done. Tom Mæddisen hasn’t won anything or done anything noteworthy during his career except being a loyal servant to the Schwarzwälder Fußballverein / Montreal United Organization. And as written above that is the goal as well. But hopefully during his last years the organization will again be able to compete for glory and remembrance in the afterlife of his career. Tom is patiently waiting for the organization’s new talents to become good enough to compete. He is quite sure it will happen sooner rather than later. Perhaps then there will be something to write about. Not just dreaming about better days in the future. Tom Mæddison’s stats so far in his career are: 26 matches for Montreal United with an average rating of 7,05. Seven goals, ten assists and pass percentage of 86. It is OK. Nothing noteworthy, but OK. And then he has had 83,5 matches for Schwarzwälder and Norway with 6,86 in average rating. One player of the match award, eight goals, thirteen assists and a pass percentage of 84. Which is the standard definition of a mediocre career in the SSL. Hopefully the future will change it up a bit and get some trophies for Mr. Tom Mæddisen. That would be very nice and most welcomed to be honest. Thank you for reading. You can make yourself a coffee as a reward.

Santiago Mitidiero's career has been marked by several changes and significant moments. From his early years in Argentina to playing in Iceland, he moved through various teams, learning experiences that helped him grow as a footballer.

His first steps were in Argentina, where he began his development and dreamed of becoming a professional player. He then joined Atlético Medellín, an important opportunity to continue developing and begin building his career outside his home country. Later, he moved to North Shore United, where he achieved one of the most important milestones of his career: winning the championship and promotion to the Minor League D1.

This success led to his move to Reykjavík United in Iceland. During his first few seasons, he struggled to achieve great results, and after three seasons with the club, the team was relegated. Despite this setback, Santiago decided to renew his contract and persevere, determined to help Reykjavík return to the top flight.
Looking back, he feels he was able to fulfill many of the dreams he had when he started playing football. He was able to make a living doing what he loves, travel to other countries, and compete at different levels. However, he still hasn't won a first division title. He's already won a championship with North Shore, but he's never been able to lift a top-flight trophy.
That's why his main goal is to achieve it with Reykjavík. First, he'll have to help the team regain its place in the first division and then try to compete for titles. He knows it won't be easy, but he's eager to keep working to achieve it.

Santiago doesn't have a set retirement date; he'll keep playing as long as his body tells him to, and as long as he feels like training and competing. He doesn't want to leave football feeling like he still has something more to offer. He still has goals to achieve, and as long as he has the opportunity, he'll try to reach them.
