Season 25 is just a few short days away and with it comes many new players for teams that have been acquired via draft, trade or free agency.
Seoul were definitely one of the more active teams during the off season, bringing in two players via trade (Walker and Silakka) to help their attack this season and beyond. 4 rookies were also added to the team, bring in much needed youth with all 4 rookies offering significant potential to be game-changers for the team at some point.
When we got a chance to speak to Walker about the upcoming season, he seemed to be very happy with the team and what he expects to be a good season. "The players here, wow, not only have they really brought me into the fold and made me feel at home from day one, but these guys are next level. There is talent all over this squad and I'm thankful they seen that I could offer something here they don't already have. This squad was crying out for a primary striker and that is what they have gotten with me. We have serious talent on the wings in Silakka and Heung-Min, both of whom I expect goals and assists aplenty this season. I'm also thrilled with who the team managed to get in the draft. Shevchenko, Hunt, Emad and Ross bring the energy to the team that only rookies can. While I don't think we should pile any expectations on them yet, I do expect them to have great careers. Bring on the new season, since my trade all I want to do is play and score goals for this team. It's going to be a great season!"
