The S26 Academy Class has been yet another exciting class early throughout so far. Now completing their first academy match and finally getting in to the rhythm of some gamedays, there are a ton of underrated gems to be discovered and some strong established users. These three users I believe have established themselves as strong rookies in this league (excluding me of course because im bias). This list provides an early step of how I think position, earning, and discord activity have mixed into this class, and who may be the most valuable on the board going in to the draft.
S Sei - CM - xyan - 309 TPE (T-1st)
Xyan has been an amazing user to start out this draft class. The center-midfield player has established himself in his position thus far. His 309 TPE is tied first in the class, his discord activity in the academy locker room has been up there with the best, and his position choice gives him a ton of interest to be picked early in this draft. His build consists of strong physical stats, especially in the Acceleration category, but his other skill assets have been relatively evenly spread thus far. So far, I believe him to be the frontrunner for 1st overall, but not without some competition from many others in the draft class. Overall, I think his overall value has been among the best in this draft, and I would be shocked to see him go outside the top 5 come draft day.
Eric Duic - GK - Roboeric562 - 280 TPE (T-37th)
Way to go off the board here. Eric Duic is a user that has shown a lot heavier LR activity over Earning. On terms of earning super early in this class, the guy is second last. Not the person you would think to go off the board even in the first round. However, one thing that really stood out to me was his overall activity. In this draft I would say it is nearly if not the best in the class. That is a hard scale to beat. I think to truly gain that top 5 value, he needs to invest in the extra training he could already do, and continue to keep that earning up before he falls too far behind.
Dennis Van Huntelrooy - ST - Jeanious - 299 TPE (T-4th)
Unarguably the best Striker on this list, Jeanious provides a valuable position that may be widely needed around the league, and is continuing to do it at a high pace. His academy discord activity by far has been one of the best, and his earning is near the top of his game, being one of the many tied 4th users in the league. One thing that stood out to me was his super low technical ratings in exchange for amazing Physical and Above Average Mental ratings. I do not see why Jeanious could not be a top 5 pick in this draft, and could easily see him being one of the top 2.
Well, the anticipation in this draft class is certainly high. There are many respectable users that could find comfortable teams here in the SSL and I really love seeing some of these users progress. All it takes is the continuous effort to being great, and I don't see why these three can't be top options here in the SSL.
