Team of the Week - Rova Mpanjaka
#1
In a crazy week Rova Mpanjaka managed to get a perfect week in, after picking up 3 wins in 4 days.
With wins against Montréal United, Seoul MFC and last but not least a win against higher ranked Schwarswälder FV it lookst like the tides have turned for Rova.

In the competition Rova lost their first match against Cairo City and their would've been fears of a repeat of last season in which Rova only had 1 win and 1 draw during the entire competition. But the coach and fans will be happy that Rova has already beaten last seasons record in terms of goals scored (7 in season 24 versus 8 in season 25) and points (4 in season 24 vs 6 in season 25).

In terms of performance Rova will be happy with the performance of Jay Cue Jr. who has had a stellar performance in the first 3 games with an average rating of 7.8 and picking up 1 player of the match. Together with a good performance of their strikers with Robbie Schuurmans, Lisfor ilovezeagLe and Hans Grudnar scoring 6 goals in total in the first three games.
In terms of fitness it looks that one of the strong parts are both the flanks of Rova. Both wingbacks are making a lot of runs resulting in most distance traveled compared to the rest of the competition.

All in all it is too early to say if Rova are a championship contender however if this weeks results are anything to go by Rova will be close to the current competition leaders. We will see how Rova will manage to keep their current form going. Next weeks match will be against Inter London. Inter London are the leaders after starting with 3 wins in their first three games so it is early but a Rova win will see them right in the mix for the championship.
