With me not knowing a lick about soccer, and just joining the league yesterday, I had no idea what I could write about that was league related. After sorting through idea's this morning, I have settled on ranking the Academy teams solely based on how I perceive their logo's. Please don't be mad! Or be mad and use it as an easy target for your PT, lmao!
8. Adowa Accra FC
Someone had to be last, sorry guys. My biggest problem with this logo is that it looks like hay bales, and I happen to have hay fever. If I get picked up by Adowa Accra FC, I'm going to have to bring a years' worth of allergy medicine to be able to step foot on the field.
7. PS Jakarta
Admittedly, these logos are very tiny. I just don't understand what's going on here. It looks like a mix between an American Football and a canoe? If someone can let me know what I'm actually looking at, that would be great.
6. Istanbul F.K.
Istanbul was Constantinople, now it's Istanbul not Constantinople.... I will forever sing this song to myself when seeing this team. Doesn't look like a bad logo but just doesn't have any qualities that stick out to me. Bonus points for the awesome song, but not enough to get them past the sixth spot.
5. Atletico
These next three logo's ranking are based off of "If this was an army, which one has the cooler banner/armor coloring." While Atletico is a solid war banner, I feel it just lacks behind these next two in design and color scheme.
4. Stockholm IK
I'm liking Stockholm's color scheme a lot, and I believe I spot a lion? Again, these logos are very tiny, so I'm not getting much detail. The color scheme is really the only thing putting this one above Atletico, although a lion is/would be a nice touch.
3. Port Royal F.C.
Port Royal would be the team I would be most excited to go to war for. The color scheme is PERFECT (Green Bay fan here, lmao) and I think it would be a beautiful banner to fly behind my army! The more I look at this logo, the more I like.
2. Victoria Falls
Here we go, i finally know what I'm looking at! That's obviously a plane, and I'm assuming it's a nod to sight-seeing of the falls? If so, beautiful idea! If not, please don't tell me because that was my whole premise for placing Victoria Falls at two lmao.
1. Sydney City
And the number one logo goes to Sydney City! That's a kangaroo on the logo. Kangaroos are from Australia. Sydney City is in Australia. Perfect matchup, and I love logo's that tie into the team's location/heritage.
