Expansion Managers

After a time of open applications, the BoD are happy to announce the following two new sets of expansion managers:

- @siddhus (OM)
- @Domffl (OM) and @Rylakn (AM)

They will now start the work on their official brandings and we hope the final results of that work will be published in a couple of weeks.

Important Dates

First and foremost is the schedule for the upcoming Expansion process:

- 26th of July, deadline for submission of protection lists from each organization.
- 9-10th of August, Offline Expansion Draft results will be posted to the forum after its completion.
- 12th of August, start of offline S27 Prospect Draft. Draft results will be presented via a live show on the 16th of August.

The expansion managers will be given permission to reach out to anyone not on the protection lists prior to the expansion draft. All players should have been notified by their manager group if you are protected or not by the 26th of July.

After the summary post has been published each expansion organization will begin inviting the selected players to their new locker rooms.

Changes to the league structure

Each expansion team will join the Second Division of their respective league and with the definitive promotion of one team to Division 1, both divisions will hold 7 teams starting in S27. This will give us 12 league matchdays played over 14 total Youtube matchdays for each division. This structure has been voted for in order to minimize the increase in simmer workload with the addition of extra teams. Yes this does mean there will be a team with a bye each matchday but it does keep the amount of matches every team plays equal for various back end things on top of the simmer workload.

More details about any changes to the Cup structure will be announced in the coming week(s).
