For this article I'm going to talk about how I feel my player is performing so far this season and a look ahead for Port Royal FC's final 5 matches for the season
I have to say my player has been playing well so far. The past few matches he's found his form and has done a really good job at helping the team get much needed wins as the season comes to a close. Port Royal needs all the wins they can get if they want to catch PS Jakarta for the Academy title. Also if he keeps this up he could be a high round draft pick, but I know there are other factors that determine which players go in the high rounds. Looking at the index Scott Newman has 8 caps, played all 720 minutes possible out of those 8 caps, scored 5 goals, recorded 1 assist, taken 20 shots (11 of which are on target), and has a conversion percentage of 25%. For a CAM with the attacking midfielder role, that's not too bad. I would love to see him keep that up as the season comes to a close. I don't know if that's up to date as I did create him before the start of the season
Like all Academy teams, Port Royal FC has five games left and they have some good form coming into matchday 10, going 4-1-0 in their last 5. The one draw was against Istanbul F.K., a game that should've been a Port Royal win because F.K. is near the bottom of the table. Here's Port Royal's final 5 matches for the season:

Looks like Port Royal has 2 home matches and 3 road matches to close out the season. To be honest I could see them going 3-1-0 to close out the season. VF is probably the toughest match out of those remaining 4 with IK in a close 2nd. Last time Port Royal FC and Victoria Falls played each other, VF won the game in a 2nd half comeback. For that reason and the fact that VF is 3 points behind Port Royal, the best result I can see happening is a draw
Sydney City is still a team that's composed of nothing but bot players so this should be an easy win, but I don't want to underestimate them as they did push PS Jakarta to the limit in matchday 9. Last time PR played SC, it was Port Royal that came out on top. I'm expecting a win in this match and 3 huge points for Port Royal to hopefully remain in 2nd in the table at this point in the season
Stockholm IK could be a tough match as last time these two faced each other, Port Royal blew out IK 6-2. I'm sure Stockholm remembers this and wants to put on a better show in front of the hometown fans. IK's recent form has been that great at 3-0-2, but like with the VF Eagals, I won't want to underestimate any opponent. I can see Port Royal winning this one, but I can see this one being a draw at the same time. I'll get a better idea on how this game will go as we approach this game
This time Port Royal has to beat Istanbul right? Last time PR played F.K., it resulted in a draw in a game that should've been a win. Honestly I can see Port Royal getting the win this time around as they are playing at home for the final time of the season and they want to send the fans home happy. A win would also be huge as this is the 13th match of the season for Port Royal and depending on how PS does, they could be tied or leading the table at his point. I feel that a draw or loss at this point would be detrimental for the team
Port Royal will be playing Adowa Accra FC to close out the Academy season. PR beat Adowa Accra FC 4-0 at home the last time these two teams played each other and this time will be traveling on the road to play them. I know it's way too early to speculate on some of these later matches, but I think Port Royal FC wins this one and is right there with PS Jakarta for the Academy title
In short I think Port Royal at best will go 4-1-0 to close out the season and at worse will go 3-2-0. This team hasn't lost a match since Academy matchday since day 3, so Port Royal has a lot of pressure to keep that streak alive. In the absolute worse case scenario I can see some loses in the final 5 games for Port Royal and that would most likely give PS Jakarta the title
