How Much Would It Be To Buy A Bottle Of Water in the SSL?

Everyone loves capitalism!! Don't we all! Isn't it fun to spend $2 (AUD) on a hamburger from McDonalds? No need to answer, as that was a rhetorical question, but I knew you were thinking "Ohh yes, I love spending two dollars on a burger that literally is just bun and patty because I take the pickle off!!! Mmmmmm!". (do you take pickles off your burger? please answer.) And the SSL has fallen into the fun world world of capitalism, introducing a way to make money within the SSL. So today is not going to be about a fun adventure between Mullet Man and his five fart buddies, instead we're going into the serious, financial side of the SSL, finding out the price of a bottle of water in the world of the SSL. Along with that, we'll find out about salaries between simulated and real footballers and finally we'll finish off finding out how strong the SSL Dollar really is.

To first answer how much a bottle of water would be in the SSL, we will take a look at what you can actually buy in the SSL. Extra TPE up to 18 per season, player traits up to 7 traits including the two you start with, footedness and the collection at the position shop including a position transfer, position upgrade and position addition until you run out of positions. Because we're all great with our money, I'd like to purely look at TPE Addition which costs $425,000 per TPE. Comparing to a price of a trainer at a minimum would cost up to 60 real AUD per hour. Assuming that the TPE training is an hour long (I know it's seconds on the actual website, but I can't be bothered to to do more, so deal with an hour mate.), We can find out that one dollar in the SSL World is equivalent to about 0.00014117647 AUD. This shows that one AUD would be equal to $7083.33 in SSL Money. Doesn't seem like much... This information will be however important to compare currencies. Now to find out the price of a bottle of water, a simple search tells me that a singular bottle of water in Australia (specifically the only good big city in Australia, Sydney) is about $2.75 AUD. Doing some simple math of 7083.33 x 2.75, we get the answer of how much it'd cost to buy a bottle of water in the SSL, the answer you're here to see, 
$19479.16

Now that we see how much money is worth in the SSL, I'd like to see how similar contracts are to the real world contracts. If you're an academy lad, you earn a salary of $3,000,000. Prospects that have come out of the academy have a maximum salary of $4,000,000. And for those wanting to know, the minimum salary would be around $1,500,000 if you leave the academy at a TPE approximately around 351 to 500. Once you survive rookie seasons, maximum salary you can have in the SSL is $7,000,000, and the minimum is different based on your TPE range. We already know the 351-500 range from earlier, nobody in the proper SSL is at 250-350 TPE.

Ronaldo makes approximately 335 million AUD per year, and using the math from the last section of water prices, we find out that Ronaldo makes $2,372,915,550,000 if he were to play in the SSL. A tad bit over the salary cap. Messi I also found out that he made approximately $42,500,000 AUD from his contract at Inter Miami, which would equal up to $301,041,525,000 if he were to instead move to Hollywood . Way less than Ronaldo, but you'd take 42 million and run off with it, I know you guys.
I also made a graph to compare the salaries between the SSL and real players to compare.

A bit one sided it seems, you can barely see the bar for anyone in the SSL, now removing Ronaldo and Messi and it makes something obvious, but however interesting.


And finally, to compare the strength of the SSL Dollar, I've done lots of works (not like I've literally done everything else in this article) and have found out that currencies weaker than the SSL Dollar are from most to least strong,
