So, the run in to the end of season 26 is already upon us, what are the permutations? Who will win? Could the treble be on for USP/ASP? Let’s have a look.
Minors Division 2
Starting with Minor League Division 2, CS Rova Mpanjaka have run away with the title and automatic promotion to Division 1. On the other hand, 2nd place is still be fought for, with Masques Sacres in the driver’s seat, and Montreal and Cairo close behind. Unfortunately Seoul MFC could not quite mathematically make it with 3 games of the minors left, needing everyone else to lose, which isn’t how football works.
Sadly for Athenai, the wooden spoon is all but in their kitchen. Let’s hope for a great draft and a competitive run next season – they do not have the favour of the Olympian Gods of FM.

Lowest possible position - 6th
Minors Division One
Now onto Minors Division 1, where a rampant Paris side have run away with it, with some even speculating they would fair pretty well in Majors Division 2.
Meanwhile Inter London have had a torrid time since being promoted and will be breathing a sign of relief that the league expansion means they will face a playoff rather than straight relegation.
Once again the middle of the pack is tight with Krung Thep in Silver Medal position, all of the other teams have a mathematical possibility of a 2nd place finish.

Majors Division Two
Speaking of expansions, over in the Majors, the last two expansion franchises have faced opposing fortunes – Xelaju are 2nd from bottom of Division 2 and Liffeyside are top of Division 1 by a single goal.
In Division 2, Shanghai high TPE has been paying dividends, with a 6 point cushion and the Division 2 championship there for the taking. AC Romana will be hoping for a slip up, but will realistically probably have to settle for second. CA Buenos Aires have pushed them hard, with 10 point separating the two halves of the table.
Schwarzwalder, Xelaju Cosmico and Tokyo will all be battling to not be the whipping boys this season, and that contest could go right to the wire.

Majors Division One
Majors Division One has a familiar feel to the top level with Hollywood once again there or thereabouts, but its been newly promoted Liffeyside Celtic who have run with the momentum of Division 2 Champions and could win over the neutrals while seeking their first Division One Title.
Hot on their heels are Uniao Sao Paolo, with Reykjavik just a single point behind them. The nordic side will need a lot of luck to get theit hands on the trophy, however.
CD Tenochtitlan and CF Catalunya have just been a little off the pace, but are still more than capable of stopping the party for anyone else. Catalunya face Liffeyside on the final day while USP and Hollywood battle it out in what could be a championship game for either.
