With Seoul being defeated by Montreal United, all chances of improving their position within the table faded away and they will turn their focus onto Athenai FC. With both teams in the bottom two of the table not many eyes will be on them during the final fixtures in a few days. But both teams will want to create some momentum heading into next season at the very least.
Seoul will fancy their chances of getting at least a point having not been defeated by Athenai since the opening fixture of last season. But either way they will want to put on the type of performance they know they can and win in style, something they have failed to do enough times earlier in the season. The horrid start of 3 points in the first 7 games really did stop any talk of them doing anything meaningful in the league with confidence at an all time low. While they have managed 12 points in the next 7 fixtures, including being the first team to take any points from Mpanjaka will be the focus to cling onto going into the off-season. But with the expansion teams coming and the draft not far away as well as the possibility of moving players up to the Major team, there could be a very different Seoul team (and tactic) in the near future.
