Well, the Academy season is officially over and unfortunately it ended on a loss for Adowa Accra FC which ended up 5th out of 8 teams in the Academy. Overall, that's not too shabby! Tyson didn't see any game time during the three games he was active for during his time at the Academy, but he sure did learn a lot about what it means to be on a team and how to keep everyone motivated! But despite being the team's glorified water boy, a strange thing has been occurring behind the scenes. A lot of scouts have been coming to games specifically to talk to Tyson, which is odd because there's clearly people actually playing on the field, why come talk to the bench warmer?!? It was all a bit over Tyson's head as scouts were telling him that he had the "perfect IVs and EVs" and something about how his "timid nature" makes him the perfect Typhlosion for the big leagues. Honestly, that last one was kinda weird, but seemingly that's just how scouts are so Tyson chooses to not pay it too much mind.
As these scouting conversations have been going on though, many sports analysts have begun to mock Tyson Blaze as potential first round pick in the upcoming draft, and many of the teams have expressed interest in making that happen. But why?! Tyson hasn't played a single second of professional Soccer! Is this normal for teams??? Is the sport that desperate for players??? Is there something that everyone else knows about him that he doesn't know??? It's all very confusing for this Pokemon. Tyson's trainer is absolutely no help during this process as well as he continues to celebrate all the money being made off of Tyson's career, so he encourages Tyson to just keep going with it! I mean, until teams figure out Tyson can't actually play Soccer, why not drain them for every single buck you can? And so, begrudgingly, that's what Tyson's plan is. He won't argue with the teams and their evaluations and he'll see where it goes. Who knows, maybe one of these teams will unlock his clearly innate talent that all the scouts and analysts keep saying he has!
Now as far as the draft is actually concerned, it's hard to know for sure how things will play out, especially with there being expansion teams, but it's looking to be quite the interesting spectacle! This draft is LOADED with great talents, like fellow Adowa Accra FC player Kazeno Kagenori! It's important he gets a shout out here, because despite the team losing, in the first half of the game alone he had SEVEN SAVES out of a total of 11 for the whole game! With the game ending in an 0-4 loss, it absolutely cannot be blamed on a keeper fighting for his life like that, and so personally speaking, that makes Kagenori Tyson's personal pick for 1OA. Additionally impressive to Tyson has been Atletico Medellin's Meisho Doto. Not that Tyson has actually really seen them play, but they seem to somehow end up in the same areas while also sharing a rather similar "timid nature". So it's like a spiritual connection thing. Surely that makes Doto worthy of a very high pick too, since they're so cool! And then there's Krunk who scored the one goal that got Adowa Accraa FC their only win while Tyson was water boying. I mean he's just a flat out hero as well, so if someone doesn't draft them high then clearly they don't know what they're doing. But that's all the opinions Tyson has currently on this draft!
