Interviewer: First of all, congratulations on a very convincing win to secure promotion to Division 1 in the Minors. How do you feel?
Bergmann: Insane, it doesnt feel real. I will need some time to realize what we have achieved. First season, we were at the beginning of this rebuild. Expecting to need time to grow as a team and add a few more players before being able to look towards promotion, here we are at the end of an amazing season topping it of with promotion. Incredible. No words, I am so proud of this squad.
Interviewer: It was a hard fight for second place, you managed to claw your way back. In the playoff game, the win was quite convincing, are you suprised?
Bergmann: We expected a hard fought battle today. We were slight underdogs, but knew the pressure was on them. We wanted to make an impact early on in the game and managed to have a stellar first half. We didnt expect it to go this well, no, but we knew we had a decent chance. Ending the season with such an amazing game is indeed the cherry on top.
