Season ReKaap / Season Preview
#1
Coming into the offseason, there's definitely a lot that needs to be worked on in order for Kaz to make strides in his role as one of Kaapstad's, and eventually Hollywood's, defenders.  He didn't have a horrible rookie season, which is even backed up by some of his stats. He completed around 92% of his passes, and won over half of the heading battles that he went into.  In more defensive stats, he was successful in 80% of his tackling attempts, intercepted 34 passes, cleared the ball to safety 28 times, and blocked 7 shots.

On the flip side, he committed eleven fouls and drew five yellow cards, which, honestly, with as aggressive as his playstyle is, is rather low.  He never got a red card, which was something that even he himself thought he might end up with at some point.

When the new season starts, he needs to get back to working on his speed.  The competition isn't slowing down; it's only getting faster. This was one of the things that he found he needed to work on the most, as it was a big change from the clubs he played on before making it to the minors.  He wants to improve in all facets of his game so he can become a top defender in the league.
