Since the addition of players like Anthony Privett, Omar Khattib and Char Zard, the Victoria Falls Eagles have had a roller coaster couple of games. In Privett's debut, the team achieved a 6-4 victory of the LEGEND controlled team of Adowa Accra FC following top-notch performances from Privett, Pau Budget, and Nwachukwu. Following this match was Char Zard's debut at CAM, resulting in the team giving Istanbul F.K. a 6-1 thrashing from the likes of a hat trick by LEGEND Jerry. Things really seemed to be looking up for the 2nd place SSL Academy side.
However, the team has been experiencing a bit of a slump recently. They were no match for Port Royal FC, falling 3-2 due to strong performances from Rylee Knock and Super Luigi. Privett and Khattib still turned in good games, but they were ultimately no match. Just yesterday, the Eagles were matched up against Atletico Medellin, which the team felt confident they could control the match and get the 3 points. This unfortunately was not the case. Medellin showed resilience and strong defense as the Eagles failed to score a single goal, resulting in the match ending in a 0-0 draw. This may see Victoria Falls start to fall down the table.
The Victoria Falls Eagles are still confident they can put these recent poor results behind them. There is more greatness to come for the SSL Academy side.
