We have passed mid season and the clubs are starting to show which teams are in contention for promotion and demotion. The top of all 4 divisions have teams separated by only 1 or 2 points so games will get more intriguing as the season gets closer to the final game. Teams have been looking for every bit of game they can from their players with only a few opportunities remaining. With every player needed to contribute for team success the youngest players of the club have to prove their worth quickly or watch their team get edged out by a slightly more prepared squad.
Here is a brief review of the S27 rookies in their midseason form:

The team is likely favorites for relegation from Division 1 but the club and players are still fighting for every goal they can. Goalie Swiss Cheese has his work cut out for him fighting in this tougher class but the players are behind him 100%. Seeing that the goalie is currently the 2nd on the team for average rating shows how much a leader he is quickly becoming. I look forward to seeing how this group of rookies progress and if they can help North Shore return to being a top minor league team.

Mirza Bajramović is leading the team in goals as well as all S27 rookies at this time. Many of these young players including Rylakn and His Cheeseburger have achieved average ratings that is likely the highest of their rookie class as well. Needless to say that this team is off to a good start with these players and might be a team that moves quickly into Division 1 within a year or two.

With Kazeno in goal he is doing a tremendous job getting a 7.03 average rating which is highest amongst all rookie goalies this year. If the team finds a way to score these two rookies could possibly be the key contributors to sneaking a promotion for the team this year.
Final Notes:
It looks like most of these young players are already finding their game within their respective clubs. Although things are early in their career the landscape can quickly change and players and teams will need to adapt. With most divisions being close fought many of these players will be deciding factors for where the team finishes in the standings. Looking ahead to next draft year the overall consensus is that it will not be as strong as the S27 class was. Therefore these young players will have increasing expectations to help their clubs compete with the years ahead.
