When I first joined the league it was safe to say Cairo was a bit of a laughing stock of the league, I mean 1 win out of 20+ games will do that to a team (Athenai knows the struggle as our brother in arms)
So it seems crazy to sit here 4 seasons later lifting the trophy above our heads, so to address the elephant the div2 minors trophy is not the most illustrious of trophies but you can only beat who you're up ahead and that's what we did
After 1 point in 3 games and being bottom of the league to then winning nine in a row was such a surreal experience I expected to end every single time we played, but everyone stood up to the task again and again and again
Shout out to everyone we have in the org for sticking through the rough seasons and for buying into the plan, it's been so amazing to see it pay off for us all
There's many things I could say but I'm needing to squeeze out a PT here so the much longer article will come at a later date I'm afraid!
